WEBBER TOWNSHIP TRASH COLLECTION
Republic Services is a large company and has been in business for a long time and is a very reputable company throughout the State of Michigan.
They have encountered many different situations in other townships and are willing to work out a way to have your refuse picked up if you have unusual circumstances. Republic will have consistent employment, consistent working equipment, follow the laws, and has a good reputation with their billing process.
The fee for this service is assessed to your Winter Tax bill. For the Tax years 2024 and 2025 the cost will be $74.00 per parcel per year. There will be an increase for the 2026 tax year.
PICK UP DAYS
Most Webber Township Residents’ trash is picked up on THURSDAY.
MONDAY pick up is in the area East of M37/US10 then the south side of 44th St., eastside of Merrillville to 40th St. then south on the west side of Forman to the north side of US-10.
Weeks with a Holiday will be picked up on Tuesday or Friday.
Make sure your cart is at the road by 7AM. The opening has to face the road and within 3
feet of the road and other obstacles (mailbox etc.)
Occasionally the drivers are not able to finish their route on the regular pick-up day but will finish the next day. If this is the case, there will be a posting on the Webber Township Facebook page. If you are missed on pick up day, please call Republic at 1-877-698-7274. This is a call center that will direct you to the Manistee office.

All homes/cottages must have a curbside cart. If you camp on your property, you may also have a cart. You are responsible for its storage while you are gone.
Not everything has to be bagged, but is preferred. You can stack the bags over the top (with cover open) as long as they don’t fall off when the truck’s arm picks up the cart. If there is more overflow, you MUST use RED bags that can be picked up at the township office. Any other bags outside of the cart will NOT be picked up.
Private drive and non-accessible road residents will need to bring carts or leave carts on a county-maintained road for collection.
LARGE ITEMS
Large items must be tagged. Tags are available at the treasurer’s office at the Township Hall.
You can put one (1) tagged item out any week on your pickup day.
